Rachelle Dusting​

Rachelle Dusting is a Perth-based artist and educator specialising in portraiture and storytelling through oil painting.

​

Her work blends classical techniques with contemporary themes, capturing the

beauty of the human experience. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) and has trained at the New York Academy of Art, refining her skills under artists such as Paul Newton, Robin Eley and Vincent Desiderio.

Her paintings range from large-scale public commissions to intimate portraits and have been recognised in national art prizes,

including the Basil Sellers Art Prize and the Kennedy Art Prize.

She is also the founder of The Artist Path event series and runs The Painting School at Goolugatup, Heathcote, mentoring

emerging artists in the art of painting.

 

Dedicated to both painting and

education, Rachelle continues to explore the interplay of light and

form to bring authentic storytelling into her work.
